Took a long time to get approved. Salesman was respectful and easy to get along with but working the numbers took forever -- 3 weeks.

My Review of Jim Shorkey Courtesy Suzuki Kia:
This was a very pleasant experience. The salesman was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. In fact, everyone I ran into at the dealership was courteous, attentive, and friendly. All the paperwork was handled in an efficient manner. No delays or problems were incurred. Would recommend this dealer to all my friends and family!

My Review of Jim Shorkey Courtesy Suzuki Kia:
I've had a very hard time with the dealer scheduling, not leaving enough time to complete the car by the time promised, the car not being done when promised, and repleated need to bring it back to fix similar or related problems. A problem is typically taking 2-4 trips to get properly repaired, and there is usually rattling and other indications of problems after pickup. The trip is a notable distance from downtown Pittsburgh, and with no offer of a loaner car, and no bus service out there, arranging for a way to get there and back for all this service (on a car under power train warranty with less than 40k miles on it) is getting to be completely exhausting. They seemed fine when the car was new and needed very little, but as I'm needing service more I'm a significant lack in workmanship, attention to detail, accomodation and accountability.

The overall experience was great! All of the people in the service department were helpful and couteous. The work was completed in a timely manner. The waiting area is comfortable, with TV, massage chairs; internet connections and even cookies! I was so pleased with the service I received and the employees that I even take my other car I purchased at a different dealership there now!

Very enjoyable experience. Tom was friendly, knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. No pressure, just information. ALL of the people I ran into at the dealership were helpful, friendly and courteous. Even when waiting for Tom to get something, anyone who walked by asked if I needed or wanted anything. Very comfortable, friendly experience.

I can't say how pleased I am with my experience here. I immediately felt a family vibe within this family-owned dealership. James, although a "new guy," was very understanding of our situation with me being a new stay-at-home mom, and worked only within the price range we told him. While waiting for the financing department to get back with a quote, we were able to enjoy lasagna and salad with the staff and some of the friends and family of the dealership. Then, when my baby girl got hungry (because her silly mom forgot a bottle), the owner's own daughter ran to Rite Aid and got her formula and a bottle! As a high-end retail sales veteran, I can honestly say that I have never seen such fantastic customer service. We got our now-beloved Ford Taurus, and I now know that I have some people down in Irwin to help me out if we have any issues. Their motto is "What a Great Day!", and you feel this as soon as you step foot into the dealership (the massaging chairs in the service waiting area are also a big plus!). Out of a score of 10, they most definitely get an 11!

My Review of Jim Shorkey Courtesy Suzuki Kia:
I Purchased a Used 2000 Chevy Truck from this company in August 2012 the truck was delivered to me in NC. On it's way down here the service engine light came on, I have had the truck in the shop more than I have been able to drive it. The mass air flow sensor was replaced 3 times because this is the code it was throwing. That did not fix the issue, then the main computer modual was replaced this still did not fix the issue. Now with the service light on and it still saying mass air flow sensor and my local Chevy Dealership unable to find the cause, I come to the next issue, I have not even been able to drive the truck threw its first oil change meaning I have not even put 3,000 miles on the truck because it has been in the shop constantly and the transmission has now broke down and needs to be replaced. Jim Shorkey Suzuki gave me a WARRANTY FOREVER however because this break down happened before the 4,000 mile waiting period they will not cover the repairs. I have called and called speaking with a Mr. Bill Fabian Service Department Manager and he provides no solution. I am told the the dealership will not do anything because it is past their 3 month guarantee therefore I am stuck with a truck I gave over $8,000.00 cash for and have spent almost $3,000.00 trying to fix the issues that accord when it was being delivered. I have been told that I will receive a call from the General Manager Matt Goranivich but am still waiting a week and a half later for that call. I strongly caution anyone considering to do business with these people to find someone else if you want to save your money.
