My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I went in looking for a new car. The sales person assessed my needs and let me to a used with 8000 miles for much less than new but met my needs perfectly.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I purchased the car using the Costco auto program. That simplified the deal on the new car itself. Then we worked on my trade-in. I was unsatisfied with their first offer and they accepted my counter for another $500.00. I declined the financing at 1.99% and was planning to pay cash. Then they came back with 1.44% interest financing. I wasn't trying to bargain for an interest rate. I was just declining it. Turns out that is negotiable too. I am glad I did my homework and knew the price range that people were paying for the car I wanted, and also the trade-in value of my old car. It felt like your average car sales experience with bargaining back and forth, and the "going to the sales managers office? I'll have to ask my manager" kind of thing. I did also e mail a few other dealers for their best price but they couldn't beat Costco.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
Our salesperson, John Modaffari, was fantastic! He was friendly, helpful and not aggressive about the sale. His demeanor made us return to the dealership a second time despite the aggressive nature of the internet sales team. The internet sales team, I don't remember the person's name, contacted me several times all because I wanted to know the "e-pricing". I understand they have to follow up with people and they really want the sale, however, I do not like aggressive sales people and I almost went to another dealer. Luckily we looked past the internet sales team and remembered the help we had received from John Modaffari when we had gone into the dealership and we returned. He saved the sale for the dealership! We didn't end up with the vehicle we went to look at, our choice, we ended up with a great deal on a used 2013 outback and are ecstatic. John Modaffari made the process easy and smooth and we left a satisfied customer!

Baierl Subaru: On behalf of the entire Baierl Subaru team, thank you for being our customer! We look forward to servicing and having you as part of our family for a long time. Bob Gavita, General Manager

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I went through Costco to buy the car. Costco instructed me to ask to see the invoice price when I purchased the car. I did need to ask the salesman more than once but he did show me the invoice price and it did match the price he quoted me. He offered that I take a longer test drive to be sure I was happy with the car. I reviewed finance options and did need to ask them to calculate the payment and show me rather than just take his word. He did as I requested and the numbers he showed me were, indeed, what we had agreed upon. Over all it was a relatively relaxed experience. Going through Costco and not having a trade in certainly made a difference for me in that there were no price negotiations.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I just needed to have the car inspected. Overall, it was in and out within 1 hour. The van took just as long, so not bad.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I had a fairly positive purchasing experience at Baierl/Subaru but have had repeated problems with the service dept. They will not make an appt to get work done, have limited evening hours, and are not open Saturdays. Two times Jay Cotts was my advisor and I have never had a worse experience with car servicing. He did not keep me informed what was happening and on one occasion when I asked how the service was going he was unable to find out for over an hour. On the other occasion after 20 minutes of waiting when I asked how my car was coming he told me my car ticket had been taken by a mechanic (just to replace the windshield wipers) and that my car had been taken "out of order"and would be worked on next.25 minutes later the car was still not touched. He NEVER gave me any updated information and I left after a total of 45 minutes at the dealer for a simple task that was not done!! I wrote both the service adviser and manager and never heard a word from either. I will go a Subaru dealership only for warranty work and will do my best to go to another dealer for even that.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I've only gotten oil changes done. No problems at all. They've been fairly quick, friendly and respectful. I really like the new lounge they just put in.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
Engine missed in cold weather until warm, sometimes very badly. Service Dept wanted to charge me $500 to replace all my spark plug wires. Went to local shop and fixed problem for $27. Baierl tried to rip me off as an unsuspecting customer. In addition, when Baierl acquired the dealership, it fired the best customer service advisors in the Service Department who genuinely tried to take care of customers. Now the service department personnel are like carnival barkers, focused on emptying your wallet instead of giving you the best service. Not only did I never return after that visit, when my Buick started nickel-and-diming me every week and it was time to replace it, I not only abandoned Baierl Buick, I abandoned GM. I stopped charging to my GM credit card, since the points expire after a few years, further reinforcing my conclusion that I'll never buy another GM car from or do any business with Baierl Buick/Subaru again.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
The Service Department has always been friendly and a courtesy shuttle service is available. The time & cost estimates have been accurate. I always get a rental car for the day and there have been times when they have provided a vehicle because the local rental agency did not have any cars available. Also, on the one occasion my car needed additional work (another day in the shop) they compensated me on the rental fee. After I receive their itemized quote I always call my cousin who owns an auto parts store and check the parts and labor with him. There are times when I do not have them do all of the work they suggest and I have not received any "attitude" on my decision. The Dealership is currently building a new lounge area. You do not need an appointment for an oil change.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
Just beginning to start the process for a new vehicle. There is nothing new to check out and I would have to order. Jon has been doing a nice job with providing me information about inventory.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
I had expressed interest through Costco and was contacted by the online sales manager initially. I stopped by the dealership for a test drive a few days later. I told the salesman on the floor and the online manager that I was still in the decision making process and wasn't ready to purchase yet. There was no pressure to buy that day.

My Review of Baierl Subaru:
We were looking for a pre-owned Impreza and were looking around the lot. I saw the salesman put his coat on but he never came out to greet us. (It was really cold out) We had to go inside to find someone. The car we had seen online and were interested in was "downstairs being detailed" The salesman said he would call me when the car was ready for a test drive. He called me 2 days later saying the car "Somehow got sold". They had a similar car being detailed and would call when that one was ready. In the mean time, we bought elsewhere.
